Board approved Q2 and H1 FY26 (ended Sep 30, 2025) results. Standalone Q2 PAT was Rs 4,250.77 cr versus Rs 5,613.71 cr in Q2 FY25, which had a one-time Rs 2,544.11 cr gain from sale of BHFL shares. Standalone H1 total income grew about 20 percent year-on-year to Rs 33,883.20 cr. Consolidated Q2 PAT rose 23 percent to Rs 4,947.76 cr and H1 PAT rose 22 percent to Rs 9,713.05 cr. Gross NPA rose to 1.59 percent from 1.33 percent. Auditors gave an unmodified review opinion. A 4-for-1 bonus issue was completed in June 2025.
Standalone YoY drop is misleading due to prior year one-time gain. Core growth remains strong but rising NPAs and slightly lower capital adequacy warrant monitoring.
