Q2 FY27 AUM rose 26.5% to INR 584,624 crore and PAT rose 29% to INR 6,367 crore; net NPA was 0.42%. Management expects FY27 AUM growth of 26% to 27% and a 25 to 40 basis point improvement in the expense-to-income ratio. It expects net interest margin pressure as funding costs rise, with loan-loss costs at the low end of guidance. A proposed raise of up to INR 17,500 crore, including warrants for Bajaj Finserv, subject to shareholder approval.
Strong growth and asset quality are positives, but rising funding costs may compress margins. The proposed Bajaj Finserv issue may dilute holders.
