Bajaj Finserv reported consolidated total income of INR 38,508 crore (up 6% YoY, or 14% excluding MTM impact) and PAT of INR 2,539 crore (up 5% YoY, or 24% excluding MTM losses) for Q4 FY26. The company completed the buyback of the remaining 3% Allianz stake in its insurance subsidiaries (Bajaj General and Bajaj Life), making both 100% Bajaj-owned. Bajaj General Insurance reported muted GWP at INR 4,322 crore due to strategic reduction in crop and motor exposure, with combined ratio elevated at 113.6% for the quarter but healthy 101.9% on full-year basis. Bajaj Life Insurance showed strong performance with VNB growth of 29% to INR 709 crore and NBM expansion of 240 bps to 24.5%. Bajaj Finance crossed the INR 5 lakh crore AUM milestone (up 22%) with PAT of INR 5,464 crore. Bajaj Housing Finance grew AUM by 22.7% with PAT of INR 669 crore. The company also outlined plans to enter PMS and AIF businesses under Bajaj Alternatives.
Strong underlying performance masked by temporary MTM impact; completion of Allianz buyback strengthens ROE/ROEV trajectory for insurance subsidiaries going forward.
