Bajel Projects has secured an Ultra-Mega EPC order worth over Rs. 700 Crore (inclusive of GST) from Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL), placed through its SPV Saswad Transmission Limited. The scope covers the turnkey design, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of a greenfield 400/220 kV AIS Substation at Saswad, Pune, along with associated 400 kV and 220 kV transmission lines and bay additions at three other substations. The project timeline is 23 months from the date of Notification of Award. The company has stated this is the largest single order ever won in its Power Transmission business. The order is domestic, not a related party transaction, and forms part of Bajel's RAASTA 2030 growth strategy.
This is a milestone order that significantly boosts Bajel's order book and revenue visibility over the next two years. Given it is the company's largest-ever single transmission order, it should positively impact sentiment and reinforce its positioning in high-value EPC projects.
