Balaji Amines has commenced commercial production at its Acetonitrile plant in Solapur, Maharashtra from 24 September 2026. The plant's installed capacity has been enhanced to 1,440 tonnes per month under the company's expansion and modernisation programme using advanced technology. The speciality chemical will cater to both domestic and international markets.
Higher ACN capacity may lift speciality chemicals revenue and strengthen the company's position in domestic and export markets.
