Balu Forge Industries has secured an initial contract to supply 30,000 units of 152mm artillery shells to a major Indian energetics player. Supplies begin June 2026 from the company's automated shell line at Belgaum, Karnataka. Volume is projected to scale to over 100,000 shells with additional variants. Company also announces forward integration into advanced energetics via subsidiary Quantum Energetics and holds NATO certification.
Positive for defence growth; strengthens revenue visibility, validates automated manufacturing, and opens higher-margin global defence markets.
