Bank of Baroda reported standalone net profit of ₹20,021 lakh crore for FY26, up 2.2% from ₹19,581 lakh crore in FY25. Total income grew 3.4% to ₹1,42,750 crore. The bank maintained strong asset quality with Gross NPA improving to 1.89% from 2.26%, and Net NPA at 0.45%. Capital Adequacy Ratio stands at 15.82% (CET-1: 13.16%), well above regulatory requirements. The board recommended dividend of ₹8.50 per share (425%) for FY26. Operating profit margin was 22.60% and net profit margin 14.03%. The audit report carried an unmodified (clean) opinion with no qualifications.
The results show steady performance with improving asset quality and consistent profitability. The clean audit opinion and manageable debt-equity ratio of 0.66 are positives. The modest PAT growth of 2.2% may be viewed as a slowdown, though the bank continues to maintain healthy margins and strong capital buffers.
