On the reaction day the stock moved 4.5 pts more than Nifty 100 and 3.4 pts more than its Public Sector Bank peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Bank of Baroda reported standalone net profit of Rs 4,809 crore for the September 2025 quarter, up 5.9% from June but down 8.2% year on year. Total income fell 1.2% to Rs 35,026 crore. Gross bad loans improved to 2.16% from 2.50%, while capital adequacy declined to 16.54% from 17.61% in June.
Sequential profit growth and lower bad loans help, but year-on-year profit and margin weakness could limit near-term investor sentiment.
