Bank of India has reported strong full-year results for FY2025-26 with total income of Rs 8,503.55 crore (up 6.5% from Rs 7,981.99 crore) and net profit of Rs 1,052.72 crore (up 14.2% from Rs 921.90 crore). Basic EPS improved to Rs 23.12 from Rs 20.25. The bank achieved significant improvement in asset quality with gross NPA declining to 1.98% from 3.27% and net NPA to 0.56% from 0.82% year-on-year. NPA provisions decreased substantially to Rs 339.27 crore from Rs 459.27 crore. Capital adequacy remains robust at 18.01% with CET 1 ratio at 15.05%. The board recommended a dividend of Rs 4.65 per share (46.50%). The auditors issued an unmodified (clean) opinion on the financial statements.
The bank delivered solid profit growth with improving asset quality and strong capital buffers. Declining NPA levels and higher provisions coverage (93.57%) indicate healthier loan book. Shareholders can expect dividend payout pending AGM approval.
