On the reaction day the stock moved 0.6 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.6 pts more than its Specialty Chemicals peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.

BASF India has received a no-objection letter from BSE (dated 30 Jan 2026) for its proposed demerger of the Agricultural Solutions business into wholly-owned subsidiary BASF Agricultural Solutions India Limited (BASIL). BSE had no adverse observations after SEBI comments. The NOC is valid for 6 months, within which the scheme must be filed with NCLT. The scheme still needs NCLT approval, shareholder and creditor consent, and other regulatory clearances.
Progresses the demerger process. Shareholders await NCLT filing, swap ratio details, and final approval before the spin-off takes effect.
