Beta Drugs has received COFEPRIS approval — Mexico's health regulator — for its oncology formulation plant in Baddi (Himachal Pradesh) and API plant Adley Lab in Derabassi (Punjab). This gives the company access to Mexico's $1.3 billion oncology formulation market, the second largest in Latin America after Brazil. The company has already filed 22 finished formulation dossiers and 10 Drug Master Files (DMFs) to expand across Latin America. The API approval will help Beta Drugs control its supply chain end-to-end, reduce dependence on third-party suppliers, and improve margins. Since Mexico is a PICS member, this approval also opens doors to register products in other PICS nations. The company has additionally applied for an EU audit, expected by December 2025, and previously secured ANVISA (Brazil) and EAEU approvals.
