Bharat Forge invested Rs 2,400 mn in wholly owned subsidiary KSSL via rights issue, funded by QIP proceeds and internal accruals. Of this, KSSL will invest Rs 1,630 mn in step-down subsidiary Agneyastra Energetics (AEL) in defence energetics manufacturing, including explosives, propellants and ammunition. AEL had nil turnover in FY26 and was incorporated July 2025. Investment aims to set up ammunition shell filling facility, completion by September 2027.
Strengthens defence vertical via step-down subsidiary AEL. Funded by QIP proceeds. AEL is pre-revenue, so no near-term earnings impact.
