Bharat Forge has signed a long-term contract with Embraer, a Brazilian aerospace company, to manufacture and supply critical landing gear forgings for commercial and defence aircraft programs. This makes Bharat Forge the first Indian supplier to join Embraer's global aerospace supply chain for forged components. The contract reinforces Bharat Forge's position in the global aerospace market and demonstrates its capability to meet stringent international certification standards for safety-critical components. Vice Chairman Amit B Kalyani noted this as a proud moment validating the company's aerospace capabilities and mentioned it will help create scale for critical structural components alongside their existing aero engine business.
This contract strengthens Bharat Forge's aerospace division and positions India as a hub for world-class aerospace solutions.
