On the reaction day the stock moved 0.9 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 1.2 pts less than its Auto Components & Equipments peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Thales and Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited, Bharat Forge's wholly owned defence subsidiary, signed an alliance to develop and manufacture 70-mm unguided and laser-guided rocket systems in India. It covers technology transfer, local production, testing and distribution for Indian and global markets. The first fully assembled rocket in India is targeted for early 2027. No deal value was disclosed.
Positive for Bharat Forge's defence business and future order prospects, but no confirmed orders or near-term sales and profit impact were disclosed.
