BPCL signed an agreement on 29 June 2026 to buy 40% equity stake in Tiki Tar and Shell India Private Limited (TTSIPL) for Rs 85 Crores in cash. TTSIPL is a JV between Tiki Tar Group and Shell Gas B.V., marketing bitumen products in India with exports to Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh. Turnover was INR 545.16 Cr in FY25 and INR 404.60 Cr in FY26. DIPAM approval obtained, completion targeted in 90 days. The deal gives BPCL access to the growing value-added bitumen segment linked to India infrastructure build-out.
Modest Rs 85 Cr cash deal gives BPCL foothold in value-added bitumen via Shell partnership. Strategic, not transformative for earnings.
