BHEL has signed a contract with Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Free Zone Enterprise in Nigeria for design, manufacture, supply, and supervision of erection and commissioning of 8 gas turbine generator packages for a petroleum refinery and polypropylene plant in Dangote Industries Free Zone. The order, won through an international tender, is valued at about Rs 2,000 to 2,500 Crores with execution within 26 months. Supply is up to Mumbai Port, with supervision and performance guarantee test at site. The order is from an unrelated international entity and is not a related party transaction.
Significant export order win worth around 10 percent of annual revenue, strengthens order book and provides foreign currency revenue visibility for next 2 years.
