BHEL received a Letter of Intent from Hindalco Industries for design, engineering, manufacture, supply, installation, and commissioning of a 2x150 MW BTG package at Aditya Aluminium in Lapanga, Sambalpur, Odisha. Order value is approximately INR 1200-1500 Crores excluding GST. It is a domestic tender and not a related party transaction. Commissioning is required within 35 months for Unit 1 and 37 months for Unit 2 from the LOI date of 3 February 2026.
Strengthens order book; meaningful private-sector order in power equipment, likely above 5 percent of annual revenue and supportive of execution visibility.
