On the reaction day the stock moved 2.9 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Birla Cable has received no objection from NSE and no adverse observations from BSE on August 14, 2026 for its proposed Scheme of Amalgamation with Vindhya Telelinks Limited. Under the scheme, Birla Cable (Transferor) will merge into Vindhya Telelinks (Transferee) under Sections 230-232 of the Companies Act. Both boards approved the scheme on March 21, 2026. Next step is filing with NCLT within six months, subject to shareholder and creditor approvals.
Positive step toward merger completion. Removes a key regulatory hurdle. Shareholders await share swap ratio, NCLT and shareholder approval.
