BLS E-Services' subsidiary Zero Mass Private Limited (ZMPL) had signed a definitive agreement on June 24, 2025 to acquire Customer Service Points (CSPs) of SBI and HDFC Bank from Sub-K Impact Solutions on a slump sale basis. The deal was expected to close by September 30, 2025, subject to bank approvals. However, since the required approvals from the relevant banks were not received within the stipulated timeline, ZMPL and Sub-K have decided not to extend the long-stop period and will not proceed with the transaction.
Negative for shareholders as the planned acquisition — meant to expand ZMPL's Business Correspondence footprint with two major bank partners — has fallen through. Since the deal did not complete, there is no direct financial hit, but near-term growth plans for the subsidiary are impacted, which may weigh on the stock in the short term.
