BMW Industries Ltd and its wholly-owned subsidiary BMW Iron & Steel Industries Ltd have bagged work orders worth ₹364.69 crores from Tata Steel for slitting and conversion of hot rolled coils into tubes. The order is split into ₹188.60 crores for BMW Industries and ₹176.09 crores for the subsidiary, with contracts valid until October 31, 2027. Work will be carried out at the Hazibagan (Howrah) plant and the Jamshedpur facility using existing infrastructure, in the ordinary course of business. The company also recently renewed its CRM complex contract with Tata Steel until 2029 valued at ₹1,764 crores, and is developing an ₹803.47 crore Greenfield Downstream Steel Complex in Bokaro for specialty steel products.
This repeat order from a marquee client strengthens revenue visibility through FY27 and reaffirms BMW Industries' position as a trusted processing partner for Tata Steel. Long-tenure contracts support steady cash flows and better plant utilization, which should be viewed as a positive for the stock.
