Bondada Engineering Ltd (BEL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on February 11, 2026 with Bryanston Renewables FZCO, a Dubai-based company, to jointly develop green-powered data centres in India and select international markets. The partnership will focus on creating ready-to-develop data centre project packages powered by renewable energy for domestic and global investors and data centre operators. BEL highlighted its existing capabilities in infrastructure, telecom networking, solar energy, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and data centre MEP work as the foundation for this move. The company said this MoU marks its strategic entry into the digital infrastructure segment, aligned with Union Budget 2026 policies promoting green and energy-efficient data centres.
This is a forward-looking strategic move into a high-growth segment (green data centres), which could open new revenue streams. However, an MoU is only a preliminary framework and not a binding deal, so investors should watch for concrete project announcements before expecting material financial impact.
