Bondada Engineering Ltd (BEL) has signed a five-year Framework Agreement with the Adani Group to become a strategic design and construction partner for renewable energy projects. As the first tranche under this partnership, Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) has awarded BEL a 650 MW solar energy works order. The partnership supports Adani's plan to build the world's largest 30 GW renewable energy plant at the Khavda RE park in Kutch, Gujarat. BEL recently crossed the 1 GW solar commissioning milestone and currently has 1.8 GW of solar works in progress, 2.5 GW of additional orders in hand, and a 2.0 GW IPP project in Andhra Pradesh.
