The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), New Delhi Bench, has dismissed an insolvency application filed against Globalbees Brands Pvt Ltd, a material subsidiary of FirstCry (Brainbees Solutions). The application under Section 7 of the IBC was filed by Ashutosh Garg, Paritosh Garg and Manju Agarwal, claiming about 64.92 crore rupees plus 18 percent annual interest from May 9, 2025. The NCLT pronounced its order on October 9, 2026, which was uploaded on October 13, 2026, rejecting the petition in its entirety. This follows the company's earlier intimation dated June 17, 2025.
Positive for shareholders: removes the insolvency overhang on a key subsidiary, reducing uncertainty and supporting stock sentiment.
