On the reaction day the stock moved 0.2 pts more than Nifty 100 and 0.7 pts more than its Packaged Foods peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Britannia's board approved two changes effective 1 October 2026. Mr. N. Venkataraman, currently Executive Director and CFO, is re-designated as Deputy Managing Director (until 29 July 2030). He will cease to be CFO and lead Finance, Strategy, Legal, Secretarial and IT alongside CEO Rakshit Hargave. Mr. Ramamurthy Jayaraman, currently VP Corporate Finance with 22+ years of experience and 15 years at Britannia, is appointed as the new CFO. Both moves are internal promotions.
Smooth internal succession with CEO unchanged. Likely viewed positively as finance leadership continuity is preserved.
