Brookfield India REIT has issued a corrigendum to the notice of its extraordinary meeting (EM) of unitholders scheduled for August 26, 2025. The corrigendum clarifies the object of a proposed Third Party Preferential Issue of ₹1,000 crores, specifying that proceeds will be used to acquire economic interest in companies owning real estate assets and/or providing real estate, property management, and operational services. The deployment timeline is on or before the end of financial year 2026-27. Until deployed, proceeds may be parked in money market mutual funds, bank/corporate deposits, or other permitted instruments. All other terms of the original notice dated August 1, 2025 remain unchanged.
