On the reaction day the stock moved 3.8 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Brooks Labs board approved a scheme to demerge its Manufacturing Business (Baddi facility, 96.66 percent of FY26 turnover at Rs. 8,287.26 lakhs) into wholly-owned subsidiary Abridge Speciality Limited. Share entitlement ratio is 1:1 with no cash consideration. Abridge will seek listing on BSE and NSE. Post-scheme, Abridge will be renamed Brooks Laboratories Limited and current entity will become Xuri Lifesciences Limited. Each platform expected to have about Rs. 50 crore for growth. Listing targeted in about 16 months, subject to NCLT, SEBI, stock exchange and shareholder approvals.
Shareholders get 1 Abridge share for every Brooks Labs share held on record date. Subject to multiple approvals over about 16 months.
