On the reaction day the stock moved 2.2 pts less than Nifty Midcap 150 and 1.7 pts less than its Capital Markets peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
BSE has signed an agreement with MSCI to explore launching futures and options contracts in India linked to MSCI indexes, subject to regulatory approvals. MSCI indexes are tracked by more than USD 21 trillion in assets under management as of December 31, 2025. The move is aimed at deepening the Indian capital market and giving investors new tools to access and hedge Indian equity exposure.
Could lift BSE derivatives volumes and revenue if approved. Signals strategic expansion, but launch still needs regulatory clearance.
