BSL Limited reported FY26 revenue of ₹657 Cr (down 1.5% YoY) and EBITDA of ₹50 Cr (down 17.4% YoY) with EBITDA margin contracting to 7.6% from 9.0% in FY25. Q4 FY26 showed further weakness with revenue of ₹148 Cr and PAT turning negative at ₹1 Cr loss. Management attributed the decline to softer global demand, volatile raw material prices, elevated freight costs, and geopolitical disruptions affecting the textile industry. The company commenced its Cotton Fabric business in October 2025. Management highlighted improving business enquiries and better inventory alignment as encouraging signs for recovery, while emphasizing focus on product mix optimization toward higher-margin segments, cost discipline, and operational efficiency to drive margin improvement.
The margin contraction and Q4 loss signal near-term profitability pressure amid challenging textile industry conditions. However, management's focus on premiumisation and efficiency initiatives, along with improving enquiry pipeline, suggests a path toward recovery if demand stabilises.
