Cambridge Technology Enterprises has approved the divestment of its 100% stake in two wholly-owned subsidiaries: R.P. Web Apps Private Limited (60,880 shares sold at par for Rs. 6.08 lakh to AKIT IT Consulting Pvt Ltd) and CTE Technology Solutions Pvt Ltd (10,000 shares sold at par for Rs. 1 lakh to a Singapore-based buyer, Bizserve Technology Investments). R.P. Web Apps contributed 2.4% of turnover and 4.9% of net worth in the last financial year, while CTE Technology Solutions was negligible at 0.007% of turnover. Separately, Manager (KMP) Mr. Sreenivasa Sastry Tumuluru stepped down after just four months in the role, citing unwillingness to continue. The Board also approved a postal ballot notice to seek shareholder approval for the appointment of Mr. Raj Kumar Sehgal as Whole-Time Director, with March 27, 2026 set as the cut-off date for voting eligibility.
The divestments are financially minor, with combined consideration of only ~Rs. 7 lakh and a small contribution to overall revenue and net worth, so the impact on shareholders is limited. The quick exit of a KMP appointed only in November 2025 may raise minor governance concerns, while the postal ballot formalises the new Whole-Time Director's appointment.
