Capital Small Finance Bank reported Q2 FY27 profit after tax of Rs 46 crore, up 30.7% from Rs 35 crore. Total income rose about 26% year on year. Gross advances rose 23.4% to Rs 9,755 crore and deposits 16.2% to Rs 10,831 crore. Gross and net bad loans improved to 2.36% and 1.12% from 2.70% and 1.38%. Bills for collection rose to about Rs 720 crore from about Rs 42 crore, and a planned Rs 50 crore bond issue was deferred.
Profit, loan growth and better asset quality support the shares; higher bills for collection add risk while deferred bond plans could delay funding.
