The board approved Q2 FY27 results. PAT was Rs 46 crore, up 31% year on year. Net interest income rose 24% year on year. Gross advances rose 23% to Rs 9,755 crore and deposits 16% to Rs 10,831 crore. Gross and net bad-loan ratios improved to 2.36% and 1.12%; capital adequacy was 20.8%. It deferred a Tier II bond issue of up to Rs 500 crore. Bills for collection rose to Rs 120 crore from Rs 42 crore last year. The review was unmodified.
Strong profit and loan growth support the outlook, while better asset quality eases credit concerns; postponing the bond issue may delay funding.
