Quant Mutual Fund has increased its shareholding in Capri Global Capital Limited from 1.53% to 5.96% of the paid-up equity share capital, by acquiring 4,47,26,200 equity shares through a Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) allotment dated June 12, 2025. The company clarified that the earlier disclosure was filed under the wrong regulation (29(2) instead of 29(1)) and has now submitted the revised disclosure. Quant MF is not part of the promoter/promoter group. As a result of the QIP, the total equity share capital of the company increased from Rs. 82.51 crore to Rs. 96.16 crore.
A large mutual fund crossing the 5% shareholding threshold signals strong institutional interest in the stock.
