Captain Polyplast Limited has announced the commencement of production at its newly constructed manufacturing facility near Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The plant spans 70,000 sq. ft. on a total land area of 330,000 sq. ft. and will enhance production capacity for micro irrigation systems including driplines, sprinklers, and HDPE pipes. The facility supports backward integration by enabling in-house manufacturing of critical components previously sourced externally. The plant was completed as per planned timelines and complements the company's existing facilities in Rajkot and Kurnool. In FY25, the company reported total income of ₹289.77 crore and net profit of ₹31.32 crore.
The new facility is expected to improve cost efficiencies and strengthen profitability through backward integration. With expanded manufacturing capacity, the company is well-positioned to capture growing demand in micro-irrigation products domestically and internationally.
