On the reaction day the stock moved 1.6 pts more than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.1 pts more than its Capital Markets peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
CARE Ratings has signed Share Purchase and Shareholders Agreements with State Bank of India and NSE IFSC Limited to sell a 9.90 percent equity stake each, totaling 19.80 percent, in its wholly owned subsidiary CareEdge Global IFSC Limited (CGIL). After closing, CARE Ratings will hold 80.20 percent and CGIL will stop being its wholly owned subsidiary. Closing actions are expected within two months.
CARE retains controlling stake while onboarding SBI and NSE IFSC as strategic shareholders in the IFSC unit, a positive validation though earnings impact is modest.
