Carysil Limited's Board has approved a capacity expansion project for its Kitchen Appliances manufacturing and assembly line at a new factory building in Bhavnagar, Gujarat, alongside an integrated Glass Processing Plant. The expansion will add 0.50 lakh units of capacity, taking the total to 1.5 lakh units. The total project cost is estimated at around ₹25 crore, covering plant and machinery, civil construction, infrastructure, and contingencies. Funding will come from a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) along with internal accruals. Commercial production is targeted to start in Q1 of FY 2026-27, subject to statutory and environmental approvals.
This is a positive growth-oriented announcement signalling future revenue expansion, but shareholders should note that part of the ₹25 crore funding will come through a QIP, which may lead to equity dilution. The impact on near-term earnings is limited since commissioning is over a year away.
