On the reaction day the stock moved 0.3 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 0.5 pts more than its Lubricants peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Castrol India's Managing Director Kedar Lele will leave the company at the close of business on 31 December 2025 to pursue opportunities outside the organisation. From 1 January 2026, Saugata Basuray, currently Wholetime Director and Head of B2C Sales, will also act as Interim CEO until a new Managing Director is appointed.
Leadership change from 1 January 2026 may create uncertainty, but an internal interim CEO should provide continuity until a permanent MD is appointed.
