On the reaction day the stock moved in line with Nifty Smallcap 250 and 0.3 pts less than its Lubricants peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Kedar Lele will cease to be Managing Director at the close of business on 31 December 2025 after resigning to pursue opportunities outside Castrol India. From 1 January 2026, Saugata Basuray, currently Wholetime Director and Head of B2C Sales, will also serve as Interim CEO until a new Managing Director is appointed. Basuray joined Castrol India in 1999 and has over 25 years of experience.
The internal appointment supports leadership continuity, though the transition may create some short-term uncertainty until a permanent Managing Director is named.
