On the reaction day the stock moved 1.1 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 0.7 pts less than its Civil Construction peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
The board approved a ₹50 crore loan to C and C Constructions, secured by property title deeds, which can convert into shares after tribunal approval to help revive the company. Ceigall may initially hold up to 94% and later reduce this to 75%. This replaces an earlier merger plan. It also approved buying 74% of the Ludhiana bypass project company for up to ₹19.37 crore to fund a six-lane highway and backing its term loan.
Highway investment may support growth, but ₹50 crore funding and a planned stake sale add capital and execution risk. Final ownership needs approval.
