Ceigall India's wholly owned subsidiary, Ceigall Infra Projects Private Limited (CIPPL), has emerged as the L1 bidder for two tenders floated by the Punjab Infrastructure Development Board. The contracts are for construction and development of World Class Urban Streets in Ludhiana on a Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) basis — Package 1 valued at Rs. 108 Crore and Package 3 valued at Rs. 99 Crore, totalling Rs. 207 Crore. Each project has an 8-month construction period followed by a 6-year maintenance period. The orders are domestic in nature and are not related party transactions.
This is a positive development as it strengthens the company's order book with two government-backed infrastructure projects. HAM-based contracts typically offer steady annuity revenue over the maintenance period, supporting long-term cash flow visibility. Investors may view this as a constructive addition to the company's pipeline, though the L1 status is still subject to formal award and contract finalisation.
