Ceigall India Limited, in a joint venture with Sushee Infra & Mining Limited (CIL 74%, SIML 26%), has emerged as the L1 (lowest) bidder for a road construction contract worth Rs. 521 crore. The project is awarded by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) and involves construction of a road from km 0.000 to km 78.38 on the Sarli-Huri section of NH-913 (Frontier Highway) in Arunachal Pradesh on EPC mode. The project is to be executed over 3 years (36 months). This is a domestic government order and not a related party transaction.
This Rs. 521 crore order win is positive for Ceigall India, strengthening its order book and providing revenue visibility over the next 3 years. Backed by a government client, the contract carries lower payment risk and supports the company's growth in the road infrastructure segment, though execution in Arunachal Pradesh may pose logistical challenges.
