On the reaction day the stock moved 2.3 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 1.2 pts less than its Public Sector Bank peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2 FY2025-26 standalone net profit rose 32.9% year on year to ₹1,212.88 crore; total income rose 4.1%. Half-year profit was ₹2,381.57 crore. Gross NPAs fell to 3.01% from 4.59%. The board declared a 2% interim dividend of ₹0.20 per share. Auditors gave unmodified conclusions but highlighted deferred tax and a depreciation change that reduced half-year profit by ₹26.37 crore; consolidated results include an ₹84.85 crore exceptional gain.
Profit growth, lower gross bad-loan ratio and the dividend may support the stock, but the depreciation change and exceptional gain call for caution.
