On the reaction day the stock moved 0.5 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 0.1 pts more than its Public Sector Bank peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Q2 FY2027 net profit rose 21% to Rs 1,469 crore; total business grew 20.54% and advances 29.83%. Gross and net bad loans were 2.39% and 0.31%, and the cost-to-income ratio improved to 58.95%. Management expects higher rates to lift margins as 61% of loans are externally linked. About Rs 24,000 crore is in the corporate lending pipeline. Low-cost deposits missed guidance, and new loan-loss rules may require Rs 5,000-5,500 crore.
Faster growth, margin upside and cleaner loans support the stock, but weak low-cost deposits and future loan-loss provisions may limit gains.
