On the reaction day the stock moved 1.0 pts less than Nifty Microcap 250 and 1.5 pts less than its Other Financial Services peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Centrum Capital's board approved selling its Merchant Banking Division to wholly-owned subsidiary Centrum Broking Limited via slump sale for Rs. 1.79 crore. The MB division contributed just 0.32 percent of FY25 consolidated revenue (Rs. 1,119 lakh out of Rs. 3,49,340 lakh). The company will surrender its SEBI Merchant Banker registration. It is a related party transaction at arm's length, expected to close in 2-3 months subject to approvals. No change in shareholding.
Minor division transfer to subsidiary with negligible financial impact. Streamlining aligns with RBI group restructuring for Unity Small Finance Bank.
