On the reaction day the stock moved 1.5 pts more than Nifty 100 and 0.7 pts more than its Heavy Electrical Equipment peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
CARE Ratings reported that CG Power used Rs 157.74 crore of its Rs 3,000 crore QIP proceeds in the September 2026 quarter, mainly for its power transformer plant. Total use reached Rs 660.39 crore, leaving Rs 2,339.61 crore unspent, mainly in bank deposits. There were no deviations, no change in financing and no delays in the stated objects.
Neutral for now: fund use is on plan, but most QIP money is still unspent and parked in deposits.
