On the reaction day the stock moved 0.3 pts more than Nifty 100 and 2.6 pts more than its Heavy Electrical Equipment peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
The board designated Rajat Shah and Rushikesh Kulkarni as senior management personnel. Consolidated Q2 revenue rose 30 percent year on year to Rs 3,801.54 crore and profit after tax rose 44 percent to Rs 409.09 crore. It also approved transformer and switchgear expansion projects with disclosed investments totaling about Rs 528 crore.
Strong profit growth and added capacity may support the stock, but planned spending could increase near-term cash outflow.
