On the reaction day the stock moved 0.5 pts less than Nifty Smallcap 250 and 0.7 pts less than its Fertilizers peers, over the same two closes: a difference in percentage points, not a measure of what the filing did.
Minute windows have no benchmark: there is no intraday index history to compare against.
Chambal Fertilisers has signed a Share Purchase Agreement to acquire a 26 percent stake in Clean Max Hachi Private Limited, a special purpose vehicle set up for a 5 MW hybrid wind-solar captive power plant in Rajasthan. Investment: up to Rs 6 crore in cash. The SPV, incorporated in June 2026, has not started operations yet. The deal is not a related party transaction and the promoters have no interest in the SPV. Completion is expected within two months.
Minor minority stake in a non-operating SPV; intended to lower power costs and back Chambal's sustainability goals over the longer term.
