Cipla signed a 5-year exclusive Supply and Marketing Agreement with Pfizer to market and distribute four brands in India: Corex cough syrup, Dolonex painkiller, Neksium acid reflux drug and Dalacin C antibiotic. Cipla gets sole rights to sell these in India while Pfizer continues manufacturing them. No upfront cash paid by either side. The deal uses Cipla's wide distribution network to boost reach of these well-known Pfizer brands.
Adds four established Pfizer brands to Cipla's portfolio at no upfront cost, strengthening presence in respiratory, pain, gastro and anti-infective segments.
