Coal India has been awarded a Composite License for Grant of Mineral Concession by the Ministry of Mines, Government of India for the Kawalapur REE and RM block covering 398 hectares. The Mining Lease deed is to be executed by the State Government, and the company will become the holder of the Mining Lease within 5 years. The license has been granted under the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957.
Positive for Coal India as it expands its mineral concession base. Supports long-term mining and rare earth mineral portfolio growth.
