Cochin Shipyard Q2 FY26 consolidated revenue was Rs 1,118.59 crores, down 2% YoY. PAT fell 43% to Rs 107.53 crores. H1 revenue grew 14% to Rs 2,187 crores but PAT declined 19% to Rs 295 crores. Operating margins compressed sharply from 24% to 15% in Q2. Board declared Rs 4 per share interim dividend with record date November 18. Auditor flagged emphasis of matter on 2 delayed passenger ships where further liquidated damages were not recognised. Operating cash flow turned sharply negative at minus Rs 708 crores for H1.
Sharp PAT decline and margin compression may weigh on sentiment, though Rs 4 interim dividend offers some support to shareholders.
