JSW Energy has commissioned 281 MW of new renewable energy capacity (215 MW solar + 66 MW wind), taking its total installed capacity to 12,499 MW. Renewables now make up 55% of the overall capacity mix, with wind at 3,482 MW, solar at 1,968 MW, and hydro at 1,391 MW. Separately, its step-down subsidiary signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited for 250 MW of wind capacity in Maharashtra at a tariff of ₹3.65/KWh, with commissioning expected within 24 months. The company has 29.9 GW of locked-in generation capacity and targets 30 GW of generation plus 40 GWh of energy storage by FY 2030 under its Strategy 3.0 roadmap.
